Special Note: Although there are limited facilities in Hong Kong which have an official direct billing agreement we are able to direct bill through the issue of a Guarantee of Payment for pre-certified In-Patient treatment at any Facility. Many facilities in Hong Kong do not sign direct billing agreements with International companies due to local legislation. Regarding Out-Patient treatment, claims are reimbursed based on the original bills being submitted with a completed claim form. The majority of facilities even with a direct billing agreement will ask for payment upfront for small Out-Patient bills so be prepared before you visit that you may be required to cover the initial cost yourself and then claim for reimbursement.
